Vikas Gupta is a well-known Indian actor, screenwriter and
television producer who is now going to show his versatile character in the
11th season of Bigg Boss. Vikas Gupta is a successful screenwriter in the south
Indian cinemas.
After passing the examination of class XII Vikas went to a
college in Delhi. However, due to some reason the college was closed and later
he completed his graduation from Rai University in Ahmadabad.
Career
He started his career as a television actor later one he
spread his wing as screenwriter and producer. After moving to Mumbai, he
started to work for Bhimsain Khurana as a writer. Bhimsain Khurana is a
renowned Bollywood director who has done films like “Gharonda” in 1977.
As Creative Head
After this, he joined Balaji Telefilms as a trainee, but he
got fired in 4 days. After that, he joined DJ’s A Creative and worked there
under Deeya Singh who is a TV director. Due to his good and dedicated work,
Vikas was called back to Balaji Telefilms again by the same person who fired
him. Later on, he worked as the creative head in successful TV soaps like
“Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” “Mahabharat”, “Kis Desh Main Hain Mera Dil”
and others.
As Producer
After the successful stint in Balaji Telefilms, he started
his own production house “A Lost Boy Productions”. Here his put his first step
as a producer and produced many popular TV series like “Gumraah: End of
Innocence”, “The Serial”, “Yeh Hain Aashiqui”, “MTV Webbed” and others.
Vikas Gupta Controversies
Bigg Boss is itself one of the most controversial TV series
in India and thus, most of the participants are also related with some kind of
controversies. Vikas Gupta was also involved in a controversy where “Kaisi Hai
Yaariyan” actor Parth Samthaan filed a case of physical harassment against him
along with for not paying his dues of Rs 5,50,000.
